    "II.J.9. Isaac Parish (John1), of Stonington and Windham, Conn., born March 17, 1697 in Ipswich (Windham), Mass.; died _____; letters of administration granted January 9, 1765; … Leaving Stonington, Isaac went to Windham and bought land there, as recorded in several deeds, the earliest being dated August 2, 1720. The History of Windham County says that Isaac Parish (probably this one) 'kept a tavern in Windham before 1760,' and that John Parish (his son?) 'took out a tavern license in Windham in 1760.' His estate was distributed January 23, 1765."
