    "57. Isaac Gorham4 (Jabez3, Desire2 Howland, John1) was born in Bristol, Mass., now in Rhode Island, 1 February 1689, the son of Jabez and Hannah (Sturgis) (Gray) Gorham. He died in New Haven, Conn., before March 1739/40, the date the inventory of his estate was presented to the court. … Isaac Gorham having died intestate, the administration of his estate was granted to Isaac's father-in-law, Lt. Richard Miles, 4 February 1739/40."
