"Bennett, Isaac, s. of Lt. James. Born [say 1685], living (at home of son Gideon) 1762; … Of Stratfield, he conveyed 1739 to son Caleb, land that belonged to father James Bennett, Esq.; and Caleb, then of New Milford, sold the same property 1742. Of Stratford, he conveyed 1746 to sons William of Fairfield and Isaac of Stratford. Benjamin of Stratfield conveyed 1738, land bounded east on meadow of father Isaac Bennett, and west on land set to my aunt Abigail wife of James Bishop."
