From 1915 to 1928 she owned the Empress Hotel. Her obituary noted that she was the proprietress of the hotel until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Red Cross Society, a life time member of the Daughters of the Empire, a member of the Canadian Club, and the Ladies Aid of St. Andrews United Church.

Breast cancer. Lived in Muskoka District, Ontario after their marriage. Came west in 1901 and lived in Estevan,SK for a time.



Died of breast cancer. Member of Red Cross Society, life time member of The Daughters of the Empire, member of the Canadian Club and the Ladies Aid of St Andrews United Church.
