In June 1674 he contracted with Major Phillips to collect the rents from all fishermen on stages on Parker’s Neck, except Ralph Tristram’s. In 1675 among those who succes. pet. for a large gr. above Saco. Sued Henry Williams for debt in Wells ct.: 1676, Richard More jr. in Suff. ct. 1677. List 236. Adm. in Suff. ct. 20 Dec. 1680 to the wid. and Capt. Elisha Hutchinson; inv. incl. land and a wareho. at Winter Harbor; debts . ‘which we hope some time to receive’ £321; debts of fishermen and others, little worth, many of them left by Mr. Downes, £1623.
