NOTE: Onondaga Country, NY Wills, p. 36 974.765 P20 V.3 FHL Lives in Onondaga Co, NY From the Chaffee Genealogy, Film # 1015848 item 2 FHL, p. 163: 499 Daniel Chaffee (David, David, David, Nathaniel, Thomas) was born in Ashford, Conn., October 10, 1779, and died in Yates, NY., April 21, 1864. He married in Onondaga, NY Huldah, daughter of Isaiah Hall of that place. She died in Yates in 1869 and was buried there. She was a member of the Baptist church. Daniel Chaffee served as a Private in the War of 1812. He was a farmer in Onondaga, and in in 1833 moved to Yates and settled on a farm where he and his wife lived the rest of their lives. He had a light complexion, blue eyes and was five feet, ten inches in height.

Huldah is buried in Beecher-Kenyon Cemetery. See the notes under husband Daniel about the cemetery. Huldah moved from Connecticut to Onondaga Co., Ny in 1799 with her parents Azariah Hall and Hannah Hall.
