Hubert Richard White, 57, Meyersdale, died Sept. 21, 1982, at his home. He was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Holbert, W.Va., and was a son of the late William J. and Agnes (McCloud) White. He is survived by his widow, Hilda (Beal); one son, Richard H., Meyersdale; four daughters: Verna, wife of Robert DeLawder, and Deborah, wife of Dale Ohler, both of Meyersdale RD 1; Hilda, Crete, Ill.; Dolores, at home; and three grandchildren. He was a veteran of WW II and a member of the Meyersdale VFW. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Milton Morris officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
