Hilda May White, 66, of Meyersdale, died July 28, 1998, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Jan. 31, 1932, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ethel (Good) Beal Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Richard White, and a brother, Clarence Beal. She is survived by these children: Verna, wife of Robert Delawder; Hilda White, Debbie, wife of Dale Ohler,
Dorrie White, and Richard, all of Meyersdale; also seven grandchildren. She was a sister of William Beal of Ohio; Walter Beal Jr. of Schellsburg, Charles Beal and Sarah Jane Thompson, both of Meyersdale, Shirley Heining of Illinois, and Dinah Glover of California. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday with Pastor Larry Stewart officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
