    Howard A. Schlieder, a member of the executive staff of Revere Copper and Brass, Inc., 230 Park Avenue, died on Sunday after a brief illness at the Danbury (Conn.) Hospital. His age was 55. His residence was at Candlewood Isle, Conn.
    In 1925 Mr. Schlieder joined the Michigan Copper and Brass Company in Detroit. When this company was merged three years later with Revere as the Michigian division, he was made treasurer of the division.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bertha G. Schlieder; two sons, Howard Jr., of Los Angeles, and William of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Miss Joyce Schlieder of White Plains, N.J., and his mother, Mrs. Mamie I. Potee of Daytona Beach, Fla.
