To son Edward Allen 400 acres in Casco Bay
My wife Hannah Allen to be served by my negroes Dege & Hagan for 4 years after my decease. Then they to have their freedom on paying to my said wife $30 in money, which
she shall have for educating my children that I now have or may hereafter have by her.
To said wife Hannah Allen the use of the residue of my estate for 4 years after my decease. At the end of that time said estate shall be deeded to my said wife shall
have the use of 7/3rd during her life time and the other 2/3 shall be divided equally between my children, vis: Edward Allen, Joeb [sic] Allen, Benjamin Allen, Mary Allen,
Elizabeth Allen & Deborah Allen. The child my wife now goeth with to have her equal share if it is born.
After my wife's decease her 1/3d to be divided equally between all of my children, born and unborn.

In case my wife marry again within 4 years after my decease, my estate shall be divided then as abv said. At the end of 4 years or on the day of her marriage, my wife may, with the advice of my overseers, sell my house and land so that my estate may be more equally divided. (signed) Hope Allen
