    Abstract:
    Herbert Lee Overton, age 76, residing in Terre Haute, IN; born in Kansas City, MO, to Delbert and Irene Overton; died Sunday, 1 May 2005 at home. He joined the Marines after high school; graduated from McPherson College; received a Master's degree from Emporia State; worked with Special Education students at Prairie View Mental Health Center.

    Survived by wife, Frances Campbell; son, Anthony, by his first wife; daughter-in-law, Yvonne; sister, Helen Higgins; stepdaughter, Alice Campbell; stepson, Craig Campbell; and three grandchildren, Michael, Andy, and Sarah.

    Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 5 May, and 4-8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, in Hesston, KS. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hesston United Methodist Church. Arranged by Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, in Terre Haute, IN.
