Oswego Palladium-Times, 17 July 1943: HENRY WILLIAMS Amboy-- Henry Williams, life-long resident of this place, died Thursday afternoon in Crouse-Irving Hospital, Syracuse, following an illness of several months. Mr. Williams was born in Amboy on December 9, 1878, the son of Stephen and Margaret Collins Williams. For 20 years he was engaged in cheese-making in this vicinity. On October 22, 1911 he was married to Miss Hazel Woolridge. Among his survivors are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth O'Brien, Locke; Miss Katherine Williams, Binghamton; Mrs. Doris Bowen and Mrs. Castella Francis, both of Amboy [!]; an aunt, Mrs. DeWill Potts, also of Amboy; a brother, Frank Williams, of Amboy; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday... at the home of his brother, Frank. The Rev. B.A. Walton, pastor of Camden United Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.

Utica Daily Press, 17 July 1943: HENRY WILLIAMS Amboy-- Henry Williams, 64, died in Crouse-Irving Hospital, Syracuse, on July 15, 1943. He was born in Amboy Dec. 9, 1878, son of Stephen Williams and Margaret Collins. He married Hazel Woolbridge in West Monroe Oct. 22, 1911. He leaves his widow and four daughters, Miss Kathern Williams, Binghamton; Mrs. Francis O'Brien, Locke; Mrs. Charles Francis, Moravia and Mrs. Lester Bowen, Moravia; one brother, Frank Williams, Amboy; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held in the home of his brother, Frank here ... tomorrow. The Rev. B.A. Walton, pastor of Camden United Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Williamstown.
