Henry Burroughs Holliday was the father of the famous John Henry "Doc" Holliday. Major in the 27th Georgia Infantry (Civil War).

Although his tombstone is in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, there is speculation that he is actually buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia.
