Henry Haskell, 78, Kansas City Editor

Photo and obituary for Henry Haskell (1874-1952), a Pulitzer Prize-winning editor of the Kansas City Star who was born in Ohio and began as a writer of fiction before working at the Kansas City World newspaper. He then joined the Star in 1898, writing the "Random Thoughts" column and other articles about world events and people, and predicting World War II while in Europe in the late 1930s.
