Information on Henry Cowger

An interesting document is a Guardian Bond that "bound James Dyer Guardian to Hannah Cowgar Henry Cowgar and John Cowgar …" and is to pay "unto the said Hannah Henry and John Cowgar orphans of George Cowgar deceased"…" when and as soon as they Shall attain to lawful age…"ence of ___ The Court. By this time Hannah had married Jacob Trumbo of Brocks Gap and was about to give birth to their first child. It is believed that the children lived with the Dyer family. Jacob Trumbo's first wife Elizabeth Lair died about the time her last child was born and a year before Hannah and Jacob married.
