Hi Darrell,

My name is Judy Hoffman and my GGGrandfather was James Bloomfield that married Nancy Miller first and had two sons and when she died he married Jane Morgan the second time and had several children by her. He froze to death while hauling a load of logs to town and his brother-in-law found him and buried him not to far from where he died and the cemetry he is buried in is called Liles cemetry on kinny road in Lewis County, Ky.

Their youngest son was my Great grandfather and he was close to a year old when his dad died. How are you related to the Bloomfields?

I live in Vanceburg, Ky on 59. Most of my family is buried at Morgan cemetry on 59.

I have information on my Bloomfield families and would be glad to share it with you.

Yes, James and Nancy had two sons William Washington Bloomfield born March 2, AD 1856, and Henry Bloomfield January 17, 1859. William Washington Bloomfield married Mary Abigail Stafford in 1877. Ermel Bloomfield that is thecaretacker of Morgan cemetery has been trying to find out where his grandmother Nancy Miller is buried.

He is the one you would really get the information on Nancy's sons. We were talking last year at the cemetry about Nancy being his grandmother and my great grandfather being his half cousin. He said it didn't matter if we were just half he still claimed us.

I go to the court house and get copies if I can fine them. Is there any that you would like for me to get. I have Jane and James and I thought I had Nancy and James but can't find them right now.
