ancestor of the Kinderhook branch of this family-The Spoor Family in America says about this line "In all the correspondence connected with preparation of this record, no Spoor now living has been found who can be referred to this branch of the family. The brief history which follows has been derived exclusively from the church records of Kinderhook and Schodack, New York. It is highly improbable that of the nine recorded grandsons of Hendrick Spoor, born between 1772 and 1792, there are no living descendants bearing the Spoor name."
