Mrs.Helen E. Valco, 95, Boyne City, MI, formerly of Barnesboro, died Feb 23, 1989 at Bortz Health Center, Petoskey, MI She was born Apr 19, 1893 in Czechoslovakia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Ruth Brosnan; and a brother, John Osif. Surviving are these children: Evelyn Janssen of Boyne City,MI; Norman of Boerne, TX; Elmer of Cleveland, OH; and Betty Raymond of Kalkaska, MI; 13 grandchildren & 17 gt-grndchrn. Mrs Valco was a former member of St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Barnesboro & its altar-rosary society. Mass of Christian burial was offered Mon at St.John's with Rev.Bernard Gregga as celebrant. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Informant was Evelyn Janssen of 23 Wildwood Harbor Rd. She died of Gangrene of Rt.Foot & Periferal Vascular Insufficiency which she had for 2yrs. Long Funeral Home in Barnesboro. Burial to be in St.Johns Cemetery in Barnesboro, PA

She is buried in the Valco plot. It is marked with a large tombstone - VALKO - around it are 4 small flat stones; 2 read 'Mother' & 2 read ' Father'. Helen & Thomas & his parents Barney & Mary are all buried here. There are no names.
