HARRIETT BELLE BUTT was born on 4 Oct 1923 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. In the photo Parke Extended Family Mother Lillie appears to pregnant. Baby (older brother) Chuck Butt looks to be about two. If so then the next child is Harriet, born late in 1923. It looks warm so it’s probably summer 1923.
She married EDWARD JONES on 16 Jun 1945 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at the age of 21. She was widowed in 1962 when he died.
She married JOHN HADEN after 1962. Harriet was at least 40 by then, and they had no children together.
In the 1970s at least, several Butt siblings lived near one another in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Francelia and brother Joseph lived together and next door to brother Walter. Sister Harriett lived a couple blocks down the street.
She died on 9 Dec 1989 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 66. She was buried in Cedar Park Cemetery, at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
