Completed the 8th grade at Pea Brook School. Was not able to attend HSin Long Eddy -- family couldn't get him there (~ 5 miles away].

He meet Florence when his sister Lucy [who was going to Teachers' Collegein Oneonta with Florence], invited her to the Drumm house.

Born in Pea Brook, near Long Eddy. He worked on the O&W railroad,painted houses, owned an electrical contract business, a restaurant inCadosia on the O&W and finally worked in Sidney for Scintilla until heretired.

Died of a stroke, buried in Riverview Cemetary (Hancock, NY).
