Harold B. Carbaugh Harold B. Carbaugh, 99, of 1075 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, died Saturday, March 16, at Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. Born in Franklin Township, he was a son of the late Lewis and Edith Brandt Carbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Mary Scott Carbaugh. He was a member of Gettysburg Presbyterian Church. He was employed by C.H. Musselman Co, Biglerville, for 35 years. After his retirement, he owned and operated Carbaugh's Gun Shop, Gettysburg. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Edith C. Lindsell of Chambersburg; one son, Edward H. Carbaugh of Gettysburg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard D. Carbaugh of Florida. Memorial Services will be held at 11a.m., Wednesday, March 20, in the chapel of Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, with the Revs. Daniel T. Hans and James Wimjum officiating. Private interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, 1075 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, Pa 17325. Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, is in charge of arrangements.

MRS. CARBAUGH DIES TUESDAY Mrs. Edith B. Carbaugh, 87, Gettysburg R. 2, died Tuesday evening at 9:30 o.clock at the Wolford-Bible Convalescent Home, Fairfield R. 1. She had been bedfst since January 1. A native of Highland Twp., she was a daughter of the late John C. and Ruhanna (Dosch) Brandt. Her husband, the late Edward Carbaugh, died July 15, 1956. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Fairfield. Surviving are three sons: Harold B. Carbaugh, 71 Steinwehr Ave.; H. Donald Carbaugh, Baltimore St., and Floyd V. Carbaugh, Harrisonburg, Va.; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two brothers, Harry Brandt, Iowa, and Charles Brandt, Michigan; and two sisters, Miss Alice Brandt, Williamson, Pa., and Mrs. Percy Hewitt, Carlisle. Funeral services Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Allison Funeral Home, Fairfield, with the Rev. Mark B. Michael officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville. Friends may call at the funeral home in Fairfield Friday evening after 7 o'clock.

Floyd V. Carbaugh, 67, died at his home at Littlestown R.1. Monday afternoon. He was the son of Lewis Edward and Edith Brandt Carbaugh. He was a retired service engineer of the John Deere Co. Surviving are his wife, the former Gladys L. Miller; children, Mrs Nancy Roadcap, Winchester, Va.; Phyllis J. Carbaugh, at home; Mrs Linda Barbine, Baltimore; Donna J. Carbaugh, Baltimore; one grandson and two brothers, Harold B., Gettysburg and H. Donald, Baltimore. He was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Harrisonburg, Va. The funeral services will be held Thursday at 1p.m. at Littles Funeral Home, Littlestown with Rev. G. Howard Koons officiating. Interment will be made in the Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening. In lieu of other memorials, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
