  3. The Edmund Rice Association website ([1]) gives Hannah's birth specifically as New Haven, CT, 9 Feb 1767, citing the "Rice Gen'l Register". No Minot records of any kind are found in Source:New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, United States. Vital Records of New Haven, 1649-1850, and no birth of Hannah is found by searching the vital record collections of americanancestors.org (which includes the Barbour collection plus many Massachusetts towns) or familysearch.org (which includes some New Hampshire records plus various Massachusetts records). This date appears to be the death date of her mother (see e. g. Find A Grave), but it is unknown whether this is an actual birthdate or, as seems probable, merely assumption. This date is also given on the memorial page of Find A Grave (1767 in the text, but under birth there is an apparent typo?, resulting in 9 Feb 1765) even though it clearly does not come from the gravestone.
