73 Hannah Eddy (John, Samuel, William), b. 1670, at the Vineyard; d. Oct. 24, 1724; m. John Manter, b. about June 1656 or 1658; d. May 26, 1744. He was son of John and Martha (Lombard) Manter. He lived at Tisbury where he was an ensign in the militia. He is mentioned in the will of John Eddy and so also is his son Samuel Manter. To John and his wife Hannah the care of the aged parents fell and in return they received the property which had been given to Benjamin Eddy by the parents for this purpose.
