HANNAH BREWSTER (1641-1688)
On 23 Dec 1664 when Hannah was 23, she married Samuel Starr, son of Dr. Thomas Starr (ca 1615-26 Nov 1658) & Rachel [Starr], in New London, CT.[9] Born ca 1640.[41] Samuel was in Charlestown in 1660, Boston in 1661, and New London by 1664. They had the following children: i. Samuel. Born on 11 Dec 1665 in New London, CT.[9]
770 ii. Thomas (1668-1712) iii. Comfort. Born on 7 Aug 1671.[9]
iv. Jonathan. Born on 23 Feb 1674 in New London, CT.[9] Jonathan was baptized on 22 Mar 1674.[9] Jonathan died in New London, CT on 26 Aug 1747; he was 73.[9] Occupation: land trader. Jonathan was elected constable at the first town meeting in Groton 1705; deputy to the General Court 1712-14, and member of the Governor's Council 1711-14.[41] On 12 Jan 1698 when Jonathan was 23, he married Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Capt. James Morgan & Mary Vine, in New London, CT.[9] Born on 9 Sep 1678 in Groton, CT.[41] Elizabeth died in Norwich, CT on 8 Sep 1763; she was 84.[41] |
