Information on Hance McCain

The 1790 census of Mecklenburg Co., NC, finds Hance McCain living with a wife and a son and a daughter, both less than 10 years old - RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE WAXHAW McCAIN TERRITORY! He appeared in a number of records from 1790 through 1802, including the tax records. The 1798 will of William Givens of Mecklenburg Co. names "my dau Agness, wf of Hans McCain" as one of his legatees.
