Mrs. GLADYS VIOLA AYRES BRENGLE, 77, formerly of 109 Fourth Avenue, Brunswick, died Wednesday March 2, at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown. She was the wife of George K. "Boots" Brengle, Jr. She was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Ella Woods Ayres.

She was a member of St. Francis and St. Mary's Catholic Churches.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Bryant, Walkersville, and Mrs. Joan B. Marsh, Leonardtown; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Keating, St. Augustine, FL.

Graveside services were conducted at Park Heights Cemetery; arrangements by the Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home, Frederick.
