    This source would cast doubt on the death date included on this page, as the writer cites, among other events, that in 1705 Giles "and his brother Ebenezer were chosen with Governor Cranston and others, as a committee on the part of Rhode Island to settle the long continued and vexatious question of boundary line between that Colony and Connecticut."
