Earl is an Iowa product. He was born at alta, Iowa, February 21, 1885. When eighteen years old he went to LeMars, whre he first worked for the Tallerday Steel Tank Co., and later for the LeMars Rolling Mills, where he was night miller for five years. From LeMars he went to Akron, Iowa where is assited in installing the municipal light plant equipment. After operating hte plant two and one-half years, Earl came to Sioux city and joined the Sioux City Service company in the capacity of conductor. He has been in the street railway service ever since. Earl shoots a good game of golf.
