- ↑ Source:Draper, Thomas Waln-Morgan. Drapers in America, p. 15, gives Gideon's birth as 1694, calling him on p. 119, the 6th child of the family. Nothing has been located yet to justify either of those conclusions (no birth record, no listing of family in birth order, no age at death, no partition calling him the 6th child, etc.), the second very possibly just a reflection of the first. To be of legal age when he married he would need to be born by 1692.
