Geraldine attended the Methodist Church in Parkersburg. For years, she kept the books of the Jackson Estate for the heirs.

Obit from Parkersburg (WV) News, Sept. 1985: "Geraldine Mildred Cunningham, 81 of 904 Lakeview Drive, Parkersburg, died Monday morning at her home unexpectedly following a short illness. She was born in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Albert H. and Hannah Jane Belford Jackson. She was a member of the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church and the MMM Class. She is survived by two sons, Beryl A. Cunningham of Parkersburg and Wayne E. Cunningham of Ridgeley, WV; nine grandchildren: Jay Edward Cunningham of San Francisco, Robert Earl Cunningham of Virginia Beach, Sue Ellen Reager of Walker, Richard B. Cunningham of Huntington, James E. Cunningham of Arlington, VA, Michael Ellis Cunningham, Sharon Cunningham, Kathryn Cunningham and Carolyn Cunningham, all of Parkersburg; one step-grandchild, Connie Sue Llewellyn; two great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy E. Cunningham; three brothers and one sister. Services will be 1 PM Thursday at the Ogdin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger L. Smith and the Rev. John L. Holbert officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery."
