From Nancy Ottman: Aunt Thelma sang; "Let the little sunshine in" themorning he was born. Family moved to house at Thurman and Ann. Thenmoved to Sheldon east of Parsons, brand new double. Grandma Flora rentsa big brick house on Jenkins Ave. No electric, no running water, had abig barn and 15 acres of land. Ruth, George, Thelma and Evelyn get oneroom, Grandma and Grandpa get another room, Vera, Helen and Kathryn getthird room and the bath is used as a bedroom for boarders because it isnot finished as a bath. The house on Jenkins was used by Uncle Tom(Aunt Helen's husband) to boot-leg whiskey!. Dad worked for thePennsylvania and later Conrail Railroad. In 1959 - 1960 we owned the SunWhite Bleach Co.
