- O'Neal, George - born 4/4/1755 abt. 6 miles from Winchester, [Frederick County], Virginia; entered service 1755 in Berkeley County, Virginia, where he resided, in Virginia regiment; granted Pension 1831 in Jessamine County, Kentucky; died there 10/30/1836; married 2/15/1785 to Elizabeth who was born 1/3/1767; widow granted Pension 1838 in Jessamine County, Kentucky; died there 5/3/1852; children's births: James 1/24/1786, Elijah 1/18/1788, George 7/15/1792, Sarah 5/5/1797, & Lewis 4/20/17899; son Elijah made affidavit 1839 in Jessamine County, Kentucky; power of attorney given 1853 by son George to agent to apply for Pension for Pension arrears due mother; query letter in file 1923 from descendant Nannie B. Jones, Eminence, Kentucky. F-W2843, R1845.
