There is a Duncan Hood McVicar (Age 8 days) - Premature Birth died 15 December 1914 at 636 Govan Road, Govan, Glasgow. Father - George McVicar (Boilermaker), Mother - Margaret McVicar (Nee McBurney). This must be some connection in view of the "Hood" name. Is it possible that granda had another brother??? Although 1901 and 1911 census shows 6 dead children in family (George and Susan) the George (Boilermaker) was obviously still alive in 1914???
