George S. Coon, formerly of Alfred, Allegany co., N. Y., is no more. He died at his residence in this vicinity (Milton, Rock co., Wisconsin) Nov. 24th, in the 47th year of his age, of the dropsy of the heart. He was a worthy member of the S. D. B. Church, and has left a numerous family to mourn their loss. As a Christian he was highly esteemed by all who knew him. As an industrious mechanic his loss will be sensibly felt by the pioneers of this new settlement.
