George Berridge was born in 1869, son of Mary Berridge, formerly Palmer, and her husband John Berridge, a higgler. The family lived at Benefield in Northamptonshire. Sadly George died as a baby when he was only two weeks old. He was buried at Benefield on 16th February 1869.
