In 1900 and 1910 he was a farmer; 1920 he was a laborer in a lumber camp; 1930 he had no occupation; and at time of death he was a saw mill operator. His wife's obituary states he was an 'antique authority and collecter". He was living in New Buffalo when brother died, 1933. Obituary FREEMAN RUPRIGHT Salem, June 4 -- Freeman Rupright, aged 92, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Mahoning County, died in the Salem City Hospital at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, from a broken hip sustained 10 days ago in a fall at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Clay, in Greenford where he resided. Mr. Rupright was born in Canfield Township Aug. 25, 1852, a son of Peter and Anna Rupright. He spent most of his life near New Buffalo. His wife, Louisa, died 12 years ago. Besides Mrs. Clay, Mr. Rupright leaves another daughter, Mrs. Celia Swank of North Jackson, five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the New Buffalo Lutheran Church. Friends may call Tuesday evening at the Arbaugh-Pearce Funeral Home in Salem.
