- ↑ At an inquest held to day on Frederick Edward Rosser, who while walking up College-road turned aside on to a vacant allotment and died instantly, a verdict was returned that death was caused by aneurism of the heart. He was a remittance man, a younger son of the late Colonel Rosser, of the 16th Lancers. He had been 30 years in Auckland. He leaves a widow and five children. {paper of July 25, 1893}
