Birth: *Genealogical and Historical Sketches of the Lomax Family by Joseph Lomax. Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1894, p. 113. "Mr. Pool is a democrat. Address, Fremont, Dodge Co., Nebraska." pg 192. * Death Certificate says born 18 April, 1839. *1850 Warren Co., Illinois Census says "Frederick." Also went by Fred M.J.

1870 Census of Floyd, Warren, Illinois lists him as Patrick. This has got to be in error. The rest of the group in the listing, including “Tempa” all fit the family.

Marr: *Jennifer Reed, daughter of Barbara Jesperson has 7 Nov, 1869. * Article in Arlington Review-Herald of September 12, 1912:

Death Certificate, 7 Sept 1912, Arlington, Washington Co., Nebraska, # 7828, day laborer, died of cerebral hemorrhage, age 73 yrs, 4 mos. 19 days., divorced *

Arlington Review Harold, Sept 12, 1912: "After suffering a stroke of apoplexy and remaining paralized on one side of his body for about a week, Moses Fredrick Pool, at the ripe age of 73 years departed from this life to take up his abode in the Great Beyond, on Friday, September 6, at the home of Martin Clark on Elkhorn Street, leaving a daughter, Mrs. M. L. Clark of Arlington, and brother, Benjiman (sic) Pool and a sister Mrs. May Lomax of Abington, Ills., to mourn his loss. . .Funeral services were held last Sunday, September 8th at the Congregational church. . . Interment at Arlington Cemetery." 1880 Census of Cedar, Knox, Ill.:

Death certificate stated he was a 'day laborer'. Married Helen L. (Bone) Cross. Death certificate states he was born in 1839, but the info in the Lomax Family Sketches states he was born in 1840?
