Also listed in the household were Wilhelmina (age 36 and keeping house), Adolf (age 10), Alvena (age 8), Auguste (age 6), Mollie(age 4), Frederik (age 3), and Emil (age 3). They were living next door to Wilhelmina's sister and brother-in-law, Augustine and John Weise. MINNESOTA CENSUS: F. W. Miller (age 41 and a farmer) was listed as head of household for family # 36, in the 1885 Minnesota Census for the inhabitants of the BlueEarth City (Faribault) MN as of 19 May 1885. Also listed in the household were F. Miller (age 58), Adolph (age 14), A. Miller (age 13), Augusta Miller (age 11), Amelia Miller (age 9), Edward Miller (age 8), Fred Miller (age 8), David Miller (age 6), Martin Miller (age 4), and Jacob Miller (age6/12). NOTE: F. Miller was probablyWilhelmina Miller (age 38) and A. Miller was probably Alvena Miller. It is unknown if Jacob Miller and Heinrich Miller are the same person. - Geraldine J. Stockman OBITUARY: "MILLER - On Thursday evening, February 4th, 1897 at 9:30 o'clock, at his home in Blue Earth City township, of heart trouble, Frederick William Miller, aged53 years 3 months. Deceased has been a resident of this county for many years and was well and favorably known in this vicinity. He was a generous and big-heartedgentleman, a good neighbor, and a man with whom it was a pleasure to have social and business intercourse. Mr. Miller was a perfect picture of health and up to the veryhour when Death claimed him, he was sitting up and visited with his family. It is the unexpected taking away of the father of the family, that makes it so much harder to bear.The deceased leaves a wife and a large family of grown children, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his early demise. The funeral services were held at the GermanEvangelical church in this city, on Sunday afternoon and Rev. H. Plantikow preached the funeral sermon.
