Jimmy Christopher 7:53 PM to me Thanks for the e-mail. I have had a DNA test through Ancestry.com. I do not have the raw data which gives the markers. I need to try and get this data. I looked at the information on David in my old records this afternoon. I have a copy of David’s will and of the probate records for David’s estate. David’s will is dated Jan. 27, 1779 and is accepted for probate on June 10, 1784. According to the probate records his children are: 1. William Christopher, his executor; 2. Susannah Christopher Overton; 3. Elizabeth Christopher Finch; 4. Mary Christopher Wooton; 5. Jacobus Christopher; 6. Nancy Christopher Hamilton; 7. Sarah Christopher Hughes; 8 Franky Christopher. Franky Christopher is named in his will; there is no other record of her in the probate proceedings. I assume she must have died after the will was made and before the probate of the estate was complete. The will leaves a life estate of part of David’s land and a number of slaves to his children.
