Frank Travis Conkling, son of Pierson Cory and Abigail (Courey/Conry) Conkling was born on 27 February 1858 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He lived in Cincinnati until age 17 when he moved to Greenville, Indiana. On 30 April 1885 he married Lillian Vinciniza Breaden. Lillian was born on 30 December 1861 in Brown Township (Darke County), Ohio. She graduated from St. Mary's of the Springs College in Columbus, Ohio in 1881. Frank was cashier of the Greenville National Bank in Greenville and became the largest stockholder in the bank. He was on the school board for 15 years, and involved in many civic activities. Frank died on 27 June 1913 in Cincinnati. He is buried in Greenville, Indiana.
