OBITUARY: Recd. From Mrs. Sandy Holmes 1/10/2007 Francis C. Knight Francis C. Knight passed away early Saturday morning Jan. 27, at his home on Larkfield Road, Commack. Mr. Knight was born in Brooklyn on Nov. 28, 1887, the son of Charles D. and Mary Riley Knight. He was by occupation, a yard foreman in the auto transportation business. Surviving besides his widow, the former Corinne Willets, are a daughter, Mrs. Luella Costner of St. James; two sons, Charles R. of Northport and Frank B. of Brooklyn; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Bryant of Roslindale, Mass., and Mrs. E. C. Walter of Manila, P. I. Funeral services were conducted Monday evening at the S. Robbins & Son Funeral Home by the Rev. J. G. Johansson, pastor of Union Methodist Church, East Northport. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn. Tuesday morning. |
