BIOGRAPHY: Notes from family history provided by Sandy Holmes 1/3/07 Baptism was at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Brooklyn, dioceses of Long Island. Rector was D. M. Genus, was baptized on Easter Eve. Both Luella and Charles D. Knight baptized at the same time and place.

There is a letter from PS 73 in the Borough of Brooklyn, dated 10/31/1913 saying Anna left there in grade 8B on Nov. 22, 1912 "because of removal to Ellenville, New York. "Described Anna's admirable character and personality traits.

Anna's birth was not recorded at time of her birth. This from a letter from the New York Dept. of Health and Vital Records and Stats. With approval a delayed registration birth certificate was put on file in the Brooklyn Office of Records under special number 156 53 843451. At time of her birth the family lived at 318 McDougal St. Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.

Carl Collom a friend of Frank Bryant Anna and Frank were introduced by the Colloms at a dance. Frank said Anna was "the most beautiful girl he had ever seen" She was dressed in a black lace dress, with white skin and blond hair. Frank thought she was "striking" Carl and Frank and maybe Charles worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard around the same time. Carl was an engineer like Charles was. Anna received her first drivers licence on 5/8/1933 and at the time was living at 10 Farquhar St. Roslindale,,Mass. She worked at Carr Consolidated Biscuit Co. 270 Baker St. She was a union negotiator for Carr Consolidated Biscuit Co.
