Francis Sylvester Arnold, died 29 Nov 1877, male, age 20 years, 8 months, born Aurora, physician Bascombe[?], Informand William Jupp of Aurora, registered 7 Dec 1877. Died of consumption./
This page of the register does not give a location in the space allowed for same. But the district registrar writes Division of Aurora after his name.

Two Death Registrations have been found for Francis Arnold. It is assumed that he died in Uxbridge. The informant there was his brother-in-law. However, his home was in Aurora and the death was registered again there a day later. This was probably caused by lack of communication between members of the family. There was no registration when his brother died a year previously and this may have had some bearing on their actions.

  5. The original birth and death dates given are from a list of all the children of Robert Arnold and Margaret Phillips given to me by another descendant.
  6. The precise date the family moved from Vaughan Township to Aurora is unknown. It is possible that Frank was born in Whitchurch.
  7. Viewed. Includes Robert and Margaret Arnold with sons Charles and Francis.
