Declaration For Widows Pension

State of Illinois County of Williamson. On 5th day of July 1927, Fannie Cason , age 70, born Feb. 2, 1857 in Jackson Fort, Ark.Law. Co., Widow of John B. Cason, who enlisted Jule 10, 1862 at Hazel Grove Ark., under the name of John B. Cason Jr., as a Private in Co. A.First Battalion REgiment of Ark., infantry Volunteers, honorable discharged Dec. 31, 1862 haveing served 90 days or more or was discharged for or died in service of disability incurred in the service and in the line of duty during Civil War.

Said soldier died June 24, 1927 at Creal Springs, Ill. That she was not devorced from him anbd that she has not remarried since his death. She had not applied for pension, the number of her former claim being /that said soldier was a pensioner, the number of his pension cerrtificate being 618867. That she makes this declaration fro the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the US under the provision of the Act Of May 1, 1920.
