Floyd R. Loughner, 85, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, in Select Specialty Hospital. He was born April 8, 1931, in Jeannette, a son of the late Harry E. Loughner Sr. and Leona "Mamie" (Zieglar) Loughner. Prior to retirement, he was the postmaster for Seton Hill University, and he attended The Church of God in Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence (Anderson) Loughner; his second wife, Theresa (Spor) Loughner; five brothers, John, Franklin "Pinky" Sr., Charles, Harry Jr. and Kenneth; and two sisters, Leona Baker and Laverne Davis. He is survived by four loving daughters, Cheryl Stein, Lisa (Michael) Ponzetti, Christine (Joe) Wojceichowski and Lorraine (Ed) Daugherty; four other children, Mildred May, Eileen Fay, Ronald George and Theresa Annette; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Lester Lohr officiating.
