FLORIAN FRANKART

Florian J. Frankart Sr., 88, 119 W. 4th St., died Friday morning at Fostoria City Hospital, following a short illness. He was born March 14, 1893, in Bascom to John and Margaret (Goshe) Frankart. He married Emma Brickner on April 10, 1918, in St. Wendelin's Catholic Church, and she died in 1969. Surviving are one son, Florian Jr., Fostoria; three daughters, Mrs. Marven (Credora) Meyer, Fremont; Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Hammer, rural Fostoria; Mrs. John(Joanne) Reinhart, Fostoria; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Frankart was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Brotherhood ofRailroad Carmen. He was the last of 11 children. He was a retired farmer and employee of the Nichel Plate Railroad. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoening Funeral Home, where a scripture service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.
