Florence E. Stevenson, 77, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Hutchinson, a daughter of the late Daniel and Beaulah Caslow Loughner. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg, and the AMVETS Post 88 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James M. Stevenson Jr.; and eight brothers. She is survived by two sons, James M. Stevenson III (Dana), of Greensburg, and Daniel Stevenson (Roxanne), of Ruffsdale; four daughters, Colleen A. Watson, of North Huntingdon, Cathleen Finney and fiance, Ray Yurko, of Greensburg, Darleen McLaughlin (Paul), of Greensburg, and Charleen Willett (Jerry), of Saltsburg; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Loughner, of Louisiana; and a sister, Dorothy Heinks, of Maryland. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Aimee Twigg officiating. Barnhart Funeral Home is a Professional Cremation Service, LLC Affiliate Firm.
