Her husband, Jesse, took her to thehospital and was told that he would likely be able to take her homethe next day. The next morning the tragic news of her untimely deathwas givin' to her only surviving son, Thomas. Thomas had to figurehow to pass the news to his father without making the shock cause anyfurther heart complications. Evaline had passed away as a result of ablood-clought to the brain, alone in the Deaconess Hospital.
