ETHEL A. HANNAN Liberty, New York Ethel A. Hannan, a retired self-employeed bookkeeper who worked in Brooklyn for many years, died on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty. She was 88. The daughter of John and Elizabeth McCrickert, she was born on April 12, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York Survivors include her nieces, Jackie MacEntee of Liberty, Ann Patricia May of New Milford, N.J., Joan Toher of Liberty, Joel DeStefano of Tom's River, N.J., Judith Froelich of Honesdale, Pa., June Finkle of Livingston Manor and Jennifer Startup of Kerhonkson; Her nephews, Lawrence Austin of White Sulphur Springs, Lee G. Austin of Halcott Center, Lemuel Austin of Loch Sheldrake and Alfred J. Austin of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a niece, Julia Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, Florida. Burial will be in Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Sullivan County Adult Center Family Care Council, P.O. Box 671, Liberty, New York 12754 Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc., Liberty, New York
